Contentious Arboretum redevelopment passes, despite traffic concerns

Childress Klein filed a petition earlier this year to allow for mixed-use development of three buildings totaling 85,400 square feet at the southeast corner of Pineville-Matthews and Providence roads. The plans include demolishing two existing bank branches and an office building, then constructing a new Bank of America branch, mixed-use building, parking deck and grocery store.
