ConTRAPtions is a hi-tech escape room in Fort Collins, Colorado. The company recently announced that they are currently wrapping up the construction of a new escape room. This new escape room does not have a specific day to open, though the target open date should be early 2019. The company states that the new escape room is full of gadgets, mind-blowing tech, and an alien.
Abigail Dalton, a representative for ConTRAPtions says, "Escape room enthusiasts will not be disappointed. This is going to be the most fun you will have all year and we are all so excited to be finishing up the construction and getting it ready to open for you."
The company says that those who are interested in keeping up to date with information regarding the new escape room can follow them on their official Facebook page. Dalton says that the company recently launched their official Facebook page and says that there are a number of followers already. The company will be using the social media page to keep customers and enthusiasts updated on any new rooms that they are adding and as a means of allowing those who have visited them to offer their opinions on the escape rooms.
"Escape rooms are so much fun," continues Dalton. "They are a wonderful way to relax and unwind after a long day or a particularly hard week at work. You just never know what you are going to run into and although we build our puzzles for full entertainment purposes, we assure you that they are also fully safe. In fact, we recommend that you bring the entire family for the fun."
The company was recently showcased in a Coloradoan article where a reporter followed two families through two of their rooms: the Tiger's Eye diamond heist room and the Mafia Gallery mobster room. Those interested can visit the Coloradoan to view a video of the two family groups as they move through their rooms. The article offers information on pricing for the rooms and gives information on when the rooms are open. The journalist does recommend that anyone who is planning to visit the rooms arrive at least 15 minutes early so that room rules and scenarios can be explained.
Dalton says that the new escape room will add even more excitement to the facility, as players will be in full charge of the adventure. The company states that they currently have two rooms available, each with varying levels of difficulty. The new room, Dalton says, will provide even more excitement and adventure with 4 possible outcomes.
Dalton says that one of their goals for the new room is to provide players the opportunity to jump between planets and solar systems. The room will allow for space travel to feel as real as possible. Teleportation devices will be available to move physical objects from one space to another in the year 2511 ED (Earth Date). Players will be tasked with determining how teleportation can help them when they are running out of time.
Dalton says that they fully expect the new room to be one of their most popular rooms and says that many players have waited patiently, and some impatiently, for the room to be completed. She says that those who are interested in learning more about this or any of their other escape rooms can contact the company via their Facebook page or on their official website and they will add them to their email list. Those on the official email list will be notified once the new room is finally open. Dalton says that while the company did originally have an idea of a firm opening date, they faced a few snags that held them back from completing the escape room on that date. She says that barring any more unforeseen circumstances, the company fully expects the new room to be playable early in 2019, and says that they will release more information as it becomes possible.
