The Knights were founded on July 25, 1998 by Mother Angelica. The religious organization states that they strive to better understand the calling of God for them in this life. They look to find strength in the Eucharist and to conform their lives to Him.

The Knights are rooted in their love for Christ and their assurance of his faithfulness. They live by a quote offered by Mother Mary Angelica, P.C.P.A. which states, “We use the talents we possess to the best of our ability and leave the results to God. We are at peace in the knowledge that He is pleased with our efforts and that His Providence will take care of the fruit of those efforts.”

They work through prayer to fulfill His desires for them and the organization welcomes members from all over the United States to join. They state that they welcome a number of foreign vocations to their organization, as well. The Knights of the Holy Eucharist has a website that offers more information about their organization as well as their upcoming events. The website has a blog as well as articles that give more information about what they do and how they do it. Those interested in learning more can visit the organization’s website and learn all about how and why they started and what they have done over the years for others.

The Knights state that they are always in need of donations both monetary and material. Their website has a list of material needs which include postage, household supplies, food, flowers and more. They state that those who are interested can drop off donations in person, mail them in or use their online form to donate. They state that other ways that the community can help is by signing up for their regular newsletter and testing one’s call. A representative for the organization says that the Lord calls many for a number of jobs in life and that those who are called should exercise their right to answer that call. The organization says that anyone who has questions about their calling can contact them and speak with a counselor to help them to determine God’s will for their lives.

The representative says that above all, they are constantly in need of prayer. The Knights revolve around prayer and state that those who are willing can help them tremendously by simply remembering them in prayer. They also have a number of social media sites including Facebook and Twitter where those who are interested can follow them and keep up with any new developments or events that they are planning.

The religious brotherhood believes that the greatest treasure of the Catholic Church is the Eucharist or Jesus hidden under the appearance of bread and wine. They believe that communion is the only way to truly receive Christ and that Christ remains in the body for about 15 minutes after communion. They state that this is why they offer 15 minutes of prayer after receiving the communion as a thanksgiving. The Knights believe that communion is an essential part of one’s overall relationship with God and state that they understand how busy people get but that there is always time for communion. A representative for the organization says that the main thing to remember Jesus’ presence remains for several minutes and allows for a special time when the believer can commune with the Lord. The organization says that those who are interested in learning more about their faith or their organization can visit them online. Their website offers a full listing of upcoming events through the end of 2018 as well as helpful articles and blog posts about the religion, their founding and their beliefs. Those interested can also contact the church directly for more information.
