St. Louis company looks to add to $3.2B in sales with latest buy

Core & Main, a $3.2 billion distributor of water, sewer and fire protection products based in Maryland Heights, said Wednesday it has agreed to acquire Long Island Pipe Supply Inc., a large provider of fire protection products and fabrication services in the Northeast.
