Hedge funds set bankrupt McClatchy's value at more than $300 million

The McClatchy Co.’s primary creditors have set a value of the nation’s second-largest newspaper company “well in excess of $300 million,” starting an auction process that has more than 20 interested parties, according to reporting by the Sacramento Bee.
