Brainerd airport gets its $18 million windfall clipped

Brai­nerd Lakes Regional Airport's share of a nationwide coronavirus aid program for airports drew some double-takes when it was announced: The tiny facility got $18 million in taxpayer dollars, enough to keep it running for 18 years. Federal officials have apparently rethought the award, capping it at a much lower level.
