Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A. Announces Scholarship Contest Winners

The Raleigh law firm is committed to giving back to the communities it serves.

RALEIGH, NC, July 09, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A. is pleased to award a total of $1,500 in scholarship prizes to two North Carolina students selected as winners of the law firm's annual essay contest.

The winners are:

1st Place, $1000—Miles Merriweather
2nd Place, $500— Morgan Tribble

Obtaining a college education and developing critical thinking skills are important steps to having a fulfilling career in the 21st century. Providing students some financial assistance to help with education expenses is one way to fulfill our commitment to the community at large and invest in the future.

The law firm's essay contest was open to high school seniors and undergraduates in North Carolina. Those who entered the contest were required to write an original essay on a selected topic such as solutions to the problem of distracted driving. The selection committee received numerous compelling essays and initially narrowed the field to 10 finalists before choosing the two winners.
