Hawaiian Homes Commission advances proposed gambling legislation

The proposed legislation would ensure that the DHHL is the primary beneficiary of the Kapolei gaming operation through a land lease agreement, as well as direct collection of 80% of the proposed state tax on gross gaming revenue.
