The departure of Jeff Bezos won’t change much at Amazon — for now

The decision by Amazon.com Inc. founder Jeff Bezos to step down as chief executive later this year was a huge surprise, but one that acknowledges his role in recent years as the founder/senior statesman, working furiously in the background, often unseen, like the Wizard of Oz.
