Fore River Brewing Co., based in South Portland, Maine, has launched a home delivery service for its signature classic, sour and hoppy beers. The brewery delivers to South Portland, Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough and Westbrook.

The service was launched to provide doorstep beer delivery for customers in Maine, during lockdown restrictions. The locally-crafted selection of house brands includes Double IPAs, ales, pilsner, German beer, sour beer, stout, lager and others. These come in a 4-pack or 500ml bottles.
Delivery is available on all days except Sunday. For customers in South Portland, Portland and Cape Elizabeth, orders have to be placed by 2 pm for same-day delivery. While only next-day delivery is available to customers in Scarborough, Gorham and Westbrook.
The brewery specializes in hoppy, sour, and more traditional beers like stouts and lagers. Hoppy beer showcases the flavor and aroma of the hops, which are added late in the brewing process. Hops are flowers used as a flavoring agent to give the beer a fruity, floral, citrusy or earthy taste.
The classic beers comprise the brewery’s interpretation of popular lagers, stouts, ales and traditional beers. While staying true to the classic taste, the signature brews add a unique aroma and flavor. Lastly, the sour beers are a range of sour-tasting brews with flavors such as raspberry, sea rose & black currant, strawberry rhubarb, peach and cranberry. The 4-pack can come with two flavors in one.
Online orders are also available for curbside pickups from the Park Avenue brewery in Maine. Customers can pick up their orders from Monday to Thursday between 12 and 5 pm, or Friday to Sunday between 12 and 6 pm.
Fore River Brewing Co., with wholesale distributors across New England, also provides pick-up orders for keg rentals through their website.
