Evergreen, United States - March 30, 2021 /PressCable/

Evergreen, Colorado – The National Buyers Agent Association recently released a guide for first-time homebuyers that provides the steps and some key tips to help them understand what it takes to purchase a home, especially in the current sellers’ market.

According to national real estate experts, many homebuyers these days are daunted with what they have to go through to be a homeowner. The housing shortage and the multi-offer situation in many of the towns all over the US are major hurdles these days. Hence, the association recommends that first-time homebuyers interview at least interview 2-3 agents and hire one who is highly skilled in market analysis and contract negotiations. The complete guide can be accessed here: https://buyeragentsearch.com/first-time-home-buyer-tips

Donna, a pre-approved buyer looking in Holland, MI reached out to the association this week and said, “I am relocating from North Carolina and our home is going on the market very soon. We expect it to be sold within 2-3 days and we don’t want to rent. So I am looking for a local buyer agent who can guide us and who knows the area very well.”

The association agrees that having an agent who is within close proximity to the buyer’s preferred area is a great candidate to consider. Kathleen Chiras, owner/CEO of the association always reminds buyers, “An agent with many years of experience and who is within a half-hour’s drive of the area would ideally be the best to provide valuable insights into the neighborhood and its current demographics. Hire someone who is responsive, provides information before they are asked, and has the right resources.”

See the link above for more information and tips about making a home offer stand out in a competitive market.

The association highly recommends that buyers, especially those who are moving from out-of-state, consider hiring a buyer’s agent to assist them with paperwork, home inspections, and negotiations. Barry Miller, the main host of the Colorado based B&L Consumers Radio Show, reminds real estate consumers to choose an agent who offers flexible commissions, short-term contracts, and high fiduciary level services.
