WEST ORANGE, N.J. - April 6, 2021 - PRLog -- The WAE (Wellness Arts Enrichment) Center, a Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled (JSDD) program, is accepting entries for "The Art of Inclusion" Pride virtual exhibition, which will be held June 1 to August 1, 2021. The entry deadline is May 2, 2021 and artists may submit a maximum of three works. The exhibition is open to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) artists with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as LGBTQ+ allies and caregivers. The exhibition is accepting fine art in these categories: painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, assemblage, collage, mixed media, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, poetry, musical/audio recording. Additional submission criteria can be found at https://www.jsddmetrowest.org/artist-opportunity/.

Artwork will be selected by a panel of jurors appointed by the WAE Center. The Artist notification of acceptance will be May 10, 2021 and the Artists Opening Reception via Zoom will be held on June 8, 2021 7:00 PM.
