"We shot this video in 2020, but due to the emotion behind it, I kept trying to find the right time, though there never is. I didn't just lose a brother. I also lost someone who believed in me," Williefromthedrive said in an interview.
Willie says the song serves as a tribute to a person who pushed him to further his career in music and helped him throughout.
"I can go on for days telling stories about how he held it down and popped out for me even when he had better things to do. But I can't see any other way to show my appreciation for the loyalty of this person," adds Willie.
In the video, the rising star from Long Island, New York, shows how he has indeed taken his time to perfect his craft over the years.
The American rapper and hip-hop artist, who has been dropping impressive videos, has hosted Shows for the African American museum in Hempstead in 2017-2018 and the present.
