30 of 59 school districts with masking policies are in Allegheny County

The Allegheny County Health Department has the authority to make masks required in the county’s schools, but hasn’t done that. Nor has the state, although Gov. Wolf on Wednesday urged the Legislature to go back into session to impose a mask measure.
