In November 2020, the Macao Government Tourism Office USA (MGTO-USA) launched "Dream Now and Travel Later," a social media integrated campaign, which has been awarded by the 2021 PATA Gold Awards as the sole Grand Award Winner in the Marketing Category at the virtual ceremony on September 8, 2021.

In response to the global pandemic from 2019 to 2020, MGTO-USA launched the "Dream Now and Travel Later" integrated campaign series in fall 2020 — which consisted of concepts from MGTO-USA's "East Meets West" and "Macao Makes it to GIPHY" campaigns — with a goal to inspire consumers to "Dream Now and Travel Later." The campaigns launched across Facebook and Instagram, inclusive of influencer partnerships, a paid partnership with a third-party media platform, social media sweepstakes, content creation, and community engagement. Huge success was achieved, earning 2.6M+ impressions, 620K+ engagements, and 580K+ video views.
This is the second prestigious award that MGTO-USA has been awarded for the "Dream Now and Travel Later" campaign. In March 2021, MGTO-USA was distinguished with a Silver Global Social Media Awards for Best Integrated Campaign for the "Dream Now and Travel Later" campaign.
