Honoring the Dead of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Learn How to Write a Meaningful, Profound and Joyous Ceremony to Celebrate Those Who Have Been Lost

PARAMUS, NJ, October 04, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Everywhere the COVID-19 has struck, regardless of race, culture or religion, ancient rituals to honor the dead and comfort the bereaved have been cut short or abandoned for fear of spreading the illness further. Pandemic restrictions have meant that many people have died or grieved alone. Inter-Faith (All-Faiths) Minister Reverend Oreste J. DAversa has written a book offering those who have lost loved ones a step-by-step process to write a memorial service titled "Write Your Own Funeral Service - Prepare and Deliver Your Own Funeral Service/Celebration of Life for Family Members, Friends and Loved Ones That Were Not Able to Receive a Proper Burial Service"

"Being an Inter-Faith (All-Faiths) Minister I am greatly concerned about all the people that have died from the COVID-19 Pandemic (at the time of this writing over 700,000 people in the United States and over 4,700,000 deaths worldwide). It is also reshaping many aspects of death, from the practicalities of handling infected bodies to meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of those left behind," says Reverend DAversa. "Funeral services (and Celebrations of Life) allow the family and community to come together, express emotions, talk about that person and formally say good-bye through a proper ceremony," he said.

Rev. Oreste J. D'Aversa, "Reverend Rusty" as he is known informally, is an Inter-Faith (All-Faiths) Minister ordained by The New Seminary in New York City, New York. He believes in the teachings of God, Jesus Christ, the Prophets, and the Ascended Masters. He is here to serve God and humankind to help make the world a better place for all people.

He is also an Author, Public Speaker, Spiritual Coach/Advisor and helps people find their true life's purpose and spiritual path. He is also a Business Coach, Consultant, Trainer and University Lecturer. He has appeared on radio and television as well as having his work featured in various newspapers and journals.

Write Your Own Funeral Service offers a person with no background in writing a Funeral Service or a Celebration of Life the opportunity to write a memorable, respectful and heart felt ceremony remembering a loved one that they can deliver any place they choose.

The book offers a "Memorial Service Template" which can be used "as is" or be customized to the specific needs of the person delivering the service. There is also a chapter on Funeral Prayers and Quotes of various religions and spiritual traditions as well as Worksheets where the person delivering the ceremony can write in the book and bring the book with them to deliver the ceremony without having to fumble with various pieces of paper.
