GM Fairfax plant readies to restart work on Chevy Malibu

Global shortages of semiconductors have thrown a wrench in the works for auto plants for months, including Ford's and GM's Kansas City facilities. Both automakers' plants have experienced sporadic shutdowns in the past year.
