New surrogate screening program will support independent surrogacy matches

Family Makers has supported intended parents and gestational carriers in the Atlanta area and across the country for more than seven years. With unprecedented wait times for matching, many Intended Parents are choosing to search for potential surrogates on social media, matching websites and through friends and family. The new gestational carrier screening program will allow intended parents seeking a surrogate on their own to have the guidance and support of an agency when they have chosen an independent journey[SC1] saving them time and money.

The gestational carrier will complete Family Makers Surrogacy's extensive surrogate screening including a comprehensive application, interviews, background checks, insurance verification, medical record review and virtual home tour. Intended Parents can also choose to extend support through the first trimester of their journey, if they feel they or their Surrogate need support after screening.

Intended Parents who are interested in the Surrogate Screening Program, or any of Family Makers Full-Service Support programs, may complete a new parent consultation form. All consultations are completed with our agency director, Ashlee Hammonds at no cost to the Intended Parents.
