London, UK, 19 October 2021— Independent female artist Zuzana Breznanikova has had a meteoric rise to become one of the top selling female artists on popular NFT marketplace OpenSea. Despite only entering the NFT Space less than six months ago Breznanikova has built up a substantial following with a trading volume of over 500 ETH (close to 2 million USD currently) across three different collections – mainly in secondary sales.
Breznanikova’s rise has helped lead the way for an increase in female artists who are gaining a lot of traction within the art world. This trend looks certain to continue and the artist is very excited about the future commenting:

NFT’s rose to prominence this year and the majority of the most noteworthy sales have been to male artists such as Beeple, Fewocious and XCOPY. There have been a few exceptions such as music artists Grimes who previously sold her artwork for $6M. Other smaller artists have also enjoyed success on other platforms such as Makers Place and SuperRare. However, OpenSea is by far the largest marketplace, with a trading volume of over $6.5 billion and the platform is seeing a steady growth in female artists.
