Heaven Has A Heart has announced that it is currently hosting an online Virtual Angel Tree Fundraiser on its website to help give destitute and impoverished families in Africa a memorable Christmas.
The Nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, revealed that it has already adopted 50 families in the Cape Africa community of Nyanga which is one of the poorest and most dangerous parts of Cape Town.
According to Heaven Has A Heart, Nyanga is the center of crime and violence in the country with murderers and thieves brazenly murdering people and carjacking with impunity. Many of these families are caught in the middle of this violent situation and a corrupt and compromised police system does nothing to help.
The organization also hinted that its volunteer team will be traveling from the United States of America on November 26th, 2021 to provide aid and comfort to these families who struggle to survive on less than $1.70 per week.
It is therefore calling on compassionate individuals who understand the true meaning of Christmas to adopt as many children and families as they can and help put smiles on the faces of children come Christmas morning.
The Nonprofit organization says it is passionate about helping underserved communities gain access to opportunities through the unique way it connects sponsors and bright inner-city talents with demonstrable needs so they can nurture a relationship of trust together.
