Kickstarter campaign brings the courtroom to everyone’s living room with their exciting new tabletop game, Who’s To Judge?

By: Get News

Who’s To Judge is a new tabletop game that will enable players to enjoy a fun, hilarious courtroom drama game with friends and family.

Two Chicago-based tabletop game enthusiasts, Chase and Sin, have recently launched a new courtroom-themed tabletop game on Kickstarter that promises hilarious debates and hours of fun. Who’s To Judge, as the game is called, can be played with large groups of family and friends.

The Who’s To Judge comes in two versions- Attorney Edition and Honorable Edition. Each box is packed with 40 Client cards and 40 Case cards. The Honorable Edition also includes a black wooden gravel and a sounding block to recreate that famous “ORDER! ORDEEERRR!” scenario at home.

“We are excited to bring you our super cool tabletop game that you will enjoy with both family and friends alike. The game will place you in a fictitious courtroom as a pugnacious lawyer, judge, or  jury member who would have to weigh in on grave issues like whether a Hobo Hitman or a Stoned Pizza Man would make a great role model for the next generation!”, chuckled Chase while introducing Who’s To Judge.

Per his statements, the idea of the game came to his mind one night while watching his friends debating for hours over the game rules of a tabletop game they were playing that night. He observed that more than the game, people enjoy the debates- and that inspired him to come up with a new game that would allow players to have fun with the debates. Thus, after several demos and testing, Who’s To Judge was born.

Who’s To Judge is both fun and easy to play –

  • First, a Law Firm (if there is a team) or a lawyer (individual player) will draw out two Client cards from the card deck
  • The Judge will draw out one Case card from the Case card deck and read the case to the courtroom
  • Now, each lawyer will choose one client to represent
  • The Judge will then read each client to the courtroom and choose two clients with the funniest of cases
  • The Judge will flip the Timer and allow 60 seconds for each lawyer to do research for their case
  • After the research part, the lawyers will get another 60 seconds to argue the case
  • Other players in the game will be the Jury members

“The coolest part of Who’s To Judge is that the players can do just anything to win the case. They can show crazy photos, use memes or hilarious videos or cook up ridiculous stories about the opposing client, and so on. The Judge too can post whatever sentence s/he wants to the loser- like s/he may ask to take a drink or a shot or pay a $1 fine to the opposing attorney, and much other fun quirky stuff. As of now, we are looking for mass production of the game and thus, this Kickstarter campaign. Your generous support will enable us to bring Who’s To Judge to life and make your tabletop time cooler than ever.”

Backers will be rewarded with special Kickstarter discounts on Who’s To Judge units. To show your support for the campaign, please visit Kickstarter
