The week in bankruptcies: Houston courts see 144 business bankruptcies so far in 2021

Year to date through Nov. 12, 2021, Houston-area bankruptcy courts recorded 144 Chapter 7 or Chapter 11 business bankruptcy filings, a 67% decrease from the same span the prior year.
