Martamaria’s true story – Chapter 18, “The Lesson of Toxic Love”, is a cautionary tale laying bare the thrilling and painful rollercoaster relationship cycle that is visible only to those who have either experienced or learned the red flags from it. In her short story, Martamaria explains skillfully, how an unsuspecting person longs for love, finds herself in a narcissistic abuse cycle, and comes out on the other side victoriously and help others including, her loved ones.

Martamaria has experienced, and later also studied, serious empathy-deficits and personality disorders, but from unusual angles, reaching the highest level of understanding of what she so passionately writes.
