This Thursday, December 2, at 3: 00 p.m. [UTC+09:00], the ‘Global Seafood Digital Trade Symposium’ will be held in Korea (Seoul).
Discussions will be on how to respond to changes in the seafood digital trade environment with the theme ‘Cooperative Scheme to Build a Seafood Digital Trade Ecosystem in Global’.
The era of paperless trade is approaching. Many changes or improvements are expected from the digital transformation of the seafood trade. This will require international consensus in various sectors.
In particular, global supply chain management with blockchains can help ensure the safety of marine products. And can also increase the freshness of fishery products by introducing simplified trade procedures, such as the digitization of trade documents. Trade transaction payment methods are also expected to change with Defi (decentralization), etc.
As such, we will be exploring how to respond to the global seafood digital trade changes that are happening at the ‘Global Seafood Digital Trade Symposium’.
Beginning with a keynote address on ‘Digital Trade Challenges and Opportunities in Fisheries Products,’ four speakers will deliver thematic presentations on the need to prepare for the digital transformation of the global digital fisheries trade environment, the changes blockchain will bring to the distribution of fisheries products, the use of digital trade manuals in the fisheries sector, and new business opportunities due to China’s digital trade revitalization.
And four discussants will lead a discussion on ‘How to Build a Digital Trading Ecosystem’. Join us in the digital transformation of the global seafood trade.
