The Best Views for Sydney’s New Years’ Eve Fireworks

Emerald City is set for another spectacular night and The Royal Botanic Garden is the perfect place to experience it.

November 30, 2021

Residents and tourists looking to ring in the New Year with friends and family can now book tickets to do it in style at one of Australia’s most iconic
harbourside vantage points for New Year’s Eve, The Royal Botanic Garden.

Starting The New Year With Fireworks

The Royal Botanic Garden is a verdant oasis in the heart of Sydney's CBD and tickets are now on sale for six NYE events taking place in the gardens and the surrounding domain. Each event is designed to offer individually themed celebrations alongside the magnificent location with breathtaking views of the night’s spectacular fireworks.

Whether selecting the laid-back elegance of Lawn With The View; the over 18’s vibe at The Point, the large open spaces at the Harbour View, overlooking the Sydney Opera House at the Bridgeview, or a relaxed BYO waterfront picnic at the Foundation and Friends Members vantage point doesn’t matter. It will be a magical night to remember for all.

Sydney’s annual NYE celebrations are widely celebrated as some of the best in Australia and the displays that usher in 2022 are set to be bigger and better than ever. Everyone one from first-time visitors to groups who head to the Royal Botanic Garden each NYE will be in for a night of stunning entertainment that starts long before midnight and carries on into the early hours on New Year’s Day.

Guests can additionally take satisfaction from the knowledge that every ticket purchased supports the Garden’s important science, horticulture, and conservation work. Meanwhile, the organisers have confirmed that all events will be Covid safe while all ticket holders will be entitled to a refund if any late changes mean that the events have to be cancelled.

Sydney is a truly beautiful city, not least on NYE. The Royal Botanic Garden events will be the perfect opportunity to experience it in all its glory. However, tickets are expected to sell out fast. Guests, especially groups who have a preferred choice out of the six events, are advised to book now to avoid disappointment.
