MANTA Surpasses 100+ Employees and Announces New Office Openings Amidst Global Growth

Data lineage platform MANTA today announced it has reached 100+ employees across its global presence, as a substantial milestone marking the company’s growth during 2021 and opportunities to continue that growth in 2022. Even despite the “Great Resignation” impacting every industry, MANTA has succeeded in growing its staff and leadership team. It has also opened new offices in Dublin, Ireland and Lisbon, Portugal, bringing its footprint to 5 offices across North America and Europe.

MANTA witnessed employee growth across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering. Of particular focus was growth of the Customer Success team, aimed at building stronger customer relationships and ensuring MANTA offers industry-leading quality support for organizations implementing its data lineage solution. Given the technical sophistication of MANTA’s platform, deep expertise is needed to deploy it within organizations’ increasingly complex data environments. MANTA focused on its Customer Success team in order to offer this robust support to customers.

In addition to growing its teams, MANTA has also added key new hires to its senior leadership, including Claudia Leitão as VP of People & Culture and Andrew Ngo, General Counsel.

Along with these milestones, MANTA witnessed significant customer growth, as major enterprises deploy its leading data lineage solution across key industries such as technology, finance, insurance, media, healthcare, and automotive. As a result, 15% of its customer roster is now made up of Fortune 500 companies.

“We are excited to share the momentum MANTA has experienced heading into 2022,” said MANTA founder and CEO, Tomas Kratky. “What is even more encouraging is to see how true data lineage is beginning to receive the attention it deserves in the market, as organizations of all sizes recognize the value it brings by helping them overcome blind spots in their increasingly complex data pipelines. I look forward to the continued growth of our team as we build out our client roster further.”

Another sign of MANTA’s growth momentum, it was included in the 2021 Gartner Market Guide for Active Metadata Management. Gartner’s inclusion of MANTA as a “Representative Vendor” indicates the importance of a proper data lineage solution for activating metadata so enterprises can attain true visibility across their entire data pipelines. Its inclusion in the report is an important reflection of MANTA’s leadership in the delivery of automated lineage.

“As digital transformation makes the critical need for data lineage more clear, MANTA is experiencing hypergrowth,” said Shane James, SVP of Customer Success at MANTA. “To keep up with this growth, the team needed an enhanced approach to customer management. I’m proud of the progress the Customer Success team has made in growing its headcount of quality professionals, standardizing its approach to customer management, and scaling its ability to meet the needs across our growing customer roster. We’re excited to keep the momentum going in 2022.”
