At the Buzzer NFL Rankings Report: Super Bowl Favorites Green Bay Packers Continue to Dominate

By: Get News
At the Buzzer is an American sports website committed to keeping its audience with the latest news in NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, NCAAB, and Golf. The brand covered Super Bowl NFL rankings.

According to CNBC, 96.4 million viewers watched the NFL 2021 Super Bowl. Crowds of football enthusiasts, die-hard sports fans, and player observers are preparing for the 13th of February and Super Bowl LVI.

At the Buzzer is an American sports website that has followed the most prominent names in American Football throughout the season. The brand’s NFL Rankings report is a comprehensive analysis of Super Bowl teams and their performance, as well as a reference to last year’s Super Bowl performance.

Out of 32 teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars are at the last spot with a 3-14-0 record, the same ranking as last year when the Jaguars ended with a record of 1-15-0. The Detroit Lions are one step ahead with a 3-13-1 record. However, this team was ranked number 26 last year.

A year after welcoming Robert Saleh as the head coach of the New York Jets, the team ranked in 30th place with a 4-13-0 record. This is an improvement over the 2020-21 performance of the Jets, who were ranked number 31 last year with a 2-14-0 record.

The top-three favorites to win Super Bowl LVI, according to the NFL Power Rankings report, were the Dallas Cowboys with a record of 12-5-0, Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a record of 13-4-0, and Green Bay Packers with a record of 13-4-0.

At the Buzzer emphasizes that NFL rankings are prone to constant changes, noting:

“Let’s be honest; a lot can happen in one offseason. Teams that dominated the year before might find themselves near the bottom of the NFL rankings the following season. Likewise, teams that struggled on the field last year can make the necessary adjustments to improve this season. That’s why it’s always interesting to see which teams improved, which teams deteriorated, and which teams maintained status quo by the end of the season.”

At that is evident in how the post season has played out so far.

The NFL power ranking of the Dallas Cowboys is currently three instead of the previous year’s power ranking of twenty-one. Having entered the top 10 best-performing teams of 2021’s Super Bowl, Tampa Bay Buccaneers have emerged to second place with a record of 13-4-0, according to At the Buzzer’s NFL Power Rankings report.

Avid NFL fans and professional analysts were not surprised when Green Bay Backers were placed at the very top. The team scored 13-3-0 last year and jumped from third to first place this season:

“The Green Bay Packers won 13 games last season, and they did it again this season. Despite many people doubting his commitment to the Packers, Aaron Rodgers had yet another MVP-caliber year. They’re heavy favorites to win the Super Bowl, but Rodgers’ future with the team is still in question. If he remains, this team will be back better than ever next year.“
