Ex-Virginia Tech football player acquitted of murder in beating of gay man who posed as woman during sex act

Former Virginia Tech football player Isimemen Etute was acquitted of a second degree murder charge in the 2021 deadly beating of 40-year-old Jerry Smith, who allegedly posed as a woman in his Tinder profile.
