American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte taking first steps toward expanded schedule

The newly renovated American Legion Memorial Stadium reopened last summer with the Charlotte Independence men’s soccer team as the anchor tenant. Operators of the team and the stadium said then that the combination of a refurbished stadium and an artificial playing surface would bring more events to town.
