Utilizing the S-Series engine, the S-750i meets current and proposed California Air Resources Board (CARB) Ultra-Low Emission Transport Refrigeration Unit (ULETRU) emissions without the use of a diesel particulate filter (DPF).

The S-750i leverages the enhanced efficiencies, performance and reliability of Thermo King’s Precedent platform while introducing several new features. These include a three-speed engine, which operates efficiently at fresh and frozen; a next-generation control system, which offers precise temperature control; and a hybrid diesel electric architecture with integrated shore power technology for businesses that can benefit from long-term shore power operation:
switch from diesel to electric operation for extended docked periods
reduce diesel engine usage, fuel consumption and emissions
achieve quieter and more efficient operations
The Precedent S-750i trailer refrigeration unit also comes standard equipped with TracKing® telematics that delivers real-time critical data for the first 12 months of ownership with no service charge. Fleet owners can monitor trailer load temperatures, receive rapid alarm detection and security alerts when the doors are opened, and detect fuel loss at any point during operation.
