Earthdance Music, Earthdance's booking and management agency is dedicated to contributing to a creative, conscious, and sustainable future for our global community. Our goal is to continue the Earthdance movement of world peace events by promoting conscious music, culture, and a global community. We believe in the power of music to heal on the individual, community, and ultimately the global level, and we represent artists who reflect that mission.
Here is a brief spotlight on each of these artists:
Ganga Giri is a didgeridoo virtuoso and innovator who fuses this ancient instrument with electronic production and vocals, this music is about connecting to culture. Ganga Giri started playing the drum kit at eight years old and has travelled the world learning, studying tabla in India, and using a range of percussion instruments on stage, including djembe and congas as part of his rhythmic beat-driven style.
Adham Shaikh is an Emmy and Juno Award-nominated music producer, composer, sound designer, and DJ who brings his uniquely powerful global sounds to the world stage and screen, not to mention many a crowded dance floor.''
Mad Professor is a dub legend! There are a few versions of the Professor show, with the Ariwa Sound System being the most common. For festivals, we like to do a few special live band versions, as well as the sound system show, with Mad Professor on stage doing the live mix. This can go to many levels artistically and creatively!
Gaudi is a musician, composer, record producer and solo artist, with based in London since 1995. Dub, electronica, Reggae and worldbeat are the music genres that primarily surface in his 16 solo albums and his music productions since the beginning of his career in 1981. Gaudi's distinctive sound has contributed to productions, collaborations, songwriting and remixes for numerous acts. Despite the majority of his production work taking place at his Metatron Studio in north London, he is a busy live performer and spends a large proportion of his time touring - performing to theatres, clubs and festival audiences around the world. His career started in the early 1980s, his musical foundations were set in electronic music, avant-garde and reggae.
Bukkha originally hails from Lafayette, Louisiana, Bukkha started producing dub music in 2007 with his debut vinyl release dropping just 2 years later backed with a remix from none other than Radikal Guru. Praised for his uniquely energetic DJ sets, he was a figurehead in the gulf coast dub/bass scene until 2016, before emigrating to Spain, where he now resides.
With support from the likes of Mala, J:Kenzo, V.I.V.E.K, Channel One Sound System, King Shiloh and a wealth of other influential DJs and Selectors. Bukkha has toured extensively around Europe and US in 2022 with plans in the works to tour Canada, South America, Asia, and Australia.
Yaadcore is one of the most unique and intriguing figures in today's Jamaican reggae scene, ad both a game-changing DJ and groundbreaking artist. After gaining prominence as the essential selector of the reggae revival movement headlined by acts like Protoje and Chronixx, Yaadcore has emerged into a powerful and influential artist in his own right. On the heels of breakout singles "Ready Now" and "The Calling," the now full-time vocalist just released his debut album, Reggaeland, in March 2022 hitting number 6 on the I-tunes Reggae Charts in the first week, with "Ghetto Youths and "Nyquill" getting into the ranks on the I-tunes Reggae singles chart.
Mykal Rose + Subatomic Sound System deliver bass-heavy dubwise versions of his Black Uhuru classics Mykal Rose has been recording and performing his brand of militant, hardcore Jamaican music to the delight of reggae fans around the world for over 25 years. As a solo artist, with Black Uhuru, and back as a solo artist, the "Ruff" Rose has achieved great success throughout his career, even as different Jamaican musical styles have phased in and out of popularity.
Junior Dread has become one of Brazil's top conscious reggae and urban artists and has been touring extensively throughout Latin America as well as regularly in America. His songwriting, spoken word and activism comes with a powerful, conscious call to action. Junior Dread's shows vary from sound system parties to the full band.
"EDICA+ creates otherworldly, intoxicating, and flavorful sounds from around the world," writes Essence Magazine. As a Guyanese artist, DJ, and curator hailing from South Texas by way of Brooklyn, she specializes in the fusion of classic and future sound system music, featuring Dub, Bass, Deep Dubstep, Dancehall, & other Experimental/World Electronica.
Up, Bustle and Out are musicians and recording artists Rupert Mould (also known as Señor Rudi) from Bristol, Senor Cuffy (Spanish Guitarist), Dave Cridge (Beat Keeper and tour/soundsystem dj) Eugenia Knight (percussion and Vocals). They have released a number of albums and singles on the Ninja Tune independent record label. Their music combines electronic music, jazz, hip-hop and funk, but with a distinctly international flavour, particularly South American and Cuban influences. The two Master Sessions albums were co-written by Cuban flautist and orchestrator, Richard Egües.
Green Lion Crew was founded in 2000 by Zeke Stern and Dana Knowles and has evolved into an international force in music production, promotion and performance. At the controls of a potent dancefloor experience that draws from reggae dancehall, hip hop and the synthy beats of urban electro, producer/DJ Green Lion is a sonic craftsman at home both on the decks and in the studio. Honed in the heated atmosphere of Jamaican sound system culture and a constant schedule of live club and concert dates in the United States, all Green Lion productions-on record, over the air or live and direct-are energetic affairs designed to set bodies in motion.
