To better present Ningxia’s wine stories and further expand the influence of Ningxia’s wine name card, Ningxia Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism launched 10 selected tourist routes of wine theme from the east foot of Helan Mountain on 8th September. These 10 new routes, which were expanded upon, integrated and merged with the 10 routes to wine cellars launched last year, are aimed to be developed into more travel choices and better vocational experience for all tourists and wine-drinkers.
It is reported that the cultural and tourist long corridor of wine at the east foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia is a world-recognized exceptional location for wine-making and grape-growing, and it is also one of the regions in Ningxia best suited for developing tourism. The long corridor enjoys a unique natural scenery and profound historical and cultural heritage. Over a hundred of wine cellars here have become newly emerging tourist destinations for numerous tourists to Ningxia to mark their footprints and attain vocational experience.
The 10 routes launched this year include: Route of Sightseeing of wine theme, Route of Healthcare and Vocations of wine theme, Route of historical mystery exploration of wine theme，Route of Friendship between Ningxia and Fujian, To-village Route of wine theme, Learn-about-wine Study Trip, High-end wine-tasting Experience, Route for business guests of wine theme, Star-watching Experience of wine theme and Route for luxurious adventure of wine theme.
