Enthusiastic citizens petitioned National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force to investigate RFA

Some enthusiastic citizens petitioned the police headquarters this morning, accusing Radio Free Asia (RFA) of being a media funded by the U.S. government and responsible for slandering China. Now, the Cantonese department of RFA has become the base camp of the opposition in Hong Kong. For example, earlier RFA had asked anti-China activists Leung Chung-hang, Elmer Yuen Gong-yi and Victor Ho Leung-Mau to publicize the so-called “Hong Kong Parliament” under the guise of interviews. Petitioners said that in order to protect the territorial integrity of the country and prevent Hong Kong from being manipulated, the National Security Department should seriously and thoroughly investigate RFA.

This morning, a group of enthusiastic citizens took banners with the words “RFA-Agent of America” and shouted slogans to petition the Wan Chai Police Headquarters. Petitioners said that earlier, an overseas patriotic youth didn’t want to see the American conspiracy succeed! He spontaneously launched an online co-signing campaign against RFA on social media, and resolutely opposed relevant false reports. This time, as ordinary citizens, they decided to respond to the appeal and submit a petition letter, so that the National Security Department could start an investigation into RFA.

Petitioners list three crimes of RFA: RFA acts as an anti-China political platform. Since its establishment, it has frequently published anti-China articles, collected and processed negative news; It provides a platform for anti-SAR government. Recently, active anti-China activists Leung Chung-hang, Elmer Yuen Gong-yi and Victor Ho Leung-Mau initiated the formation of the so-called “Hong Kong Parliament” in Canada. The relevant action was obviously to subvert the regime of the SAR government, but RFA provided them with a communication platform under the guise of interviews, increased their exposure to achieve the effect of publicity, and served as a base camp for Hong Kong fugitives. The Cantonese Department of RFA is eager for Hong Kong suspects involved in endangering national security. It not only provides a working platform for Samuel M.Chu, a wanted criminal in Hong Kong, but also interviews Nathan Law Kwun-chung, a notorious Hong Kong fugitive, and coordinates Hong Kong anti-China politicians to publish articles or be interviewed as “scholars”.

Petitioners criticized that the actions above RFA are not the proper actions of an objective and fair media, and involve the secession of China and the serious violation of Hong Kong’s National Security Law. It can be said that RFA is a American agent, both in terms of purpose and actions. In order to protect the territorial integrity of the country, the National Security Office is urged to seriously and thoroughly investigate RFA.
