By: PRLog

TAMPA, Fla. - Oct. 12, 2022 - PRLog -- KITRUM, a software development company, became the top company of 2022 according to the Best of Clearwater Award. The program annually chooses and honors the achievements of local businesses throughout the Clearwater area. The reward goes to the company that uses best practices to grow its business despite challenging economic times.

Before this, KITRUM made it to the list for the INC.5000, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the USA. The companies were selected according to their percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. With a growth of 6,799% since 2019, KITRUM settled at 50th position, the highest ranking of any Tampa Bay company.

Those two remarkable achievements gained in 2022 are even more valuable for the company, founded in Clearwater with its roots in Ukraine. Just at the beginning of the year, all the short and long perspective business plans receded into the background due to the russian war in Ukraine. 50% of KITRUM's employees are located in Ukraine.

"For me the people are what matter. Without them there is no KITRUM. It's an honor for me that all our efforts resulted in becoming the top Tampa-based company according to two notable sources: Inc.5000 and Clearwater Award. I am proud that the work of our team, that stands behind those achievements, is recognized," – shares Vlad Kytainyk, the founder of KITRUM.

At the end of February, the company put all assets into relocations and help to their team. Employees at the safe places picked up the projects of those who couldn't work due to the situation. Of course, all the clients showed empathy and understanding.

Probably this resilience and dedication are key reasons why the clients stay with KITRUM – the retention rate is 98%.

The company went back on track fast, as remote work processes were already set on a high level. It's been a couple of years since KITRUM hired developers from all over the world: Poland, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Latin America. Moreover, since the start of the war, the company has signed five new clients and continues to develop software for fortune enterprises, new ventures, NGOs, and private tech companies. In 2022 KITRUM expects to double its revenue to $19 million.

The INC.5000 list and gaining the Best of Clearwater Award results from KITRUM's dedication, efforts and the work of the employees helping to build the business. And it's only the start.
