This updated buyback program provides a simple three-step process that can be used to recover some of the costs from a wide range of products.
To use the new program, patients can start by browsing the American Medical Surplus product page, to find matches for their excess equipment. Similar to a standard online shopping cart, but in reverse, patients can add the items they wish to sell to their online cart, and see a preview of the rate for each item, as well as their total sale.
If the rates are acceptable, patients can finalize their order by choosing how they would like to be paid. With the most recent updates to the program, patients can now choose to accept their payment using several different methods, including CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, or for orders over $1,000 they offer bank wires and checks.
Patients will be e-mailed a pre-paid label that can be printed out and attached to their order for complimentary shipping of their products to American Medical Surplus. Clients without a printer can request to have their prepaid label shipped to them by checking the appropriate box on the order form, under “additional information.”
Once the package has been shipped, American Medical Surplus should receive it within 2 to 4 days, and in most cases, their team verifies the contents and provides payment the same day. If clients choose to receive a check, they may have to wait an additional 3 to 5 days for shipping.
