"Since the passing of my mom in 2022, I've really taken a deep dive into the significance of what we do on stage," Edi says in response to being asked about what it means to perform for him. "Not only has [performance] been a means for me to heal from my own traumas and situations but being able to be out there and see that I'm not alone and being able to be a voice for people who don't have one means so much to me."
