Unitifi Partners with CD2 Learning to Lead the Evolution of Behavior-Based Advising for Financial Professionals

Helping investors understand their own risk behavior and how it contributes to investment decisions.

(PRUnderground) July 16th, 2020

Most Americans, somewhere between 75 and 99 percent, do not use a financial advisor to guide the management of their money. Surprising?

There are many reasons for this lack of financial assistance, one is the misconception that you must be wealthy to have a financial advisor. Another is that people do not understand what services are offered by a financial advisor or what is appropriate for their personal situation. Then there are those who had a poor experience previously or mismatched communication with a former advisor.

Unitifi is working to change all this by assisting financial professionals in understanding client’s financial personalities and behaviors, leading the evolution of behavior-based advising.  They are helping investors understand their own risk behavior and how it contributes to investment decisions.

Created by financial professionals and PhDs, Unitifi uses a proprietary algorithm paired with a web-based assessment and reporting tools to help financial professionals and firms to improve client service, client retention, and on-board new clients more effectively.

Financial professionals have a better understanding of individual client behavior as it relates to finances. This allows them to better communicate and advise in a more meaningful and productive way, resulting in an increased retention.  This also allows Firms to have a better increase in AUM, more effective target for marketing reducing marketing spend, and reduced potential for litigation ~ just to name a few.(Lorri to wordsmith)…

Investors gain understanding into their financial behavior and risk association with a proven accuracy result of over 99%. Understanding behavior can help inform various investment decisions and improve communication with your financial professional. With a short assessment completion time (between 2-7 minutes) the results can showcase repeat errors and assist a professional in helping to guide your next move.

CD2 Learning is working with Unitifi to train financial professionals on the proper use and application of Unitifi’s tools and assessments. Through understanding the behavior-based investor snapshot, the financial professional is better equipped to advise client decisions and build a more meaningful relationship.

CD2’s President, Jay Breeden says, “Unitifi’s web-based assessment and reporting is absolutely leading the industry’s best practices. Their attention to detail while training professionals in its use will ensure these practices are maximized.”

Jerry Szatko, the President and Managing Partner of Unitifi adds, “The initial launch has proven to be highly successful. We have moved up the timetable on the next step which is an industry- recognized certification backed by continuing education requirements. We invite financial advisors and investors to participate in a trial assessment, it is the best demonstration of Unitifi’s potential and the results are immediately obvious.”
